What does art mean to me?

March 18, 2013

“Art is meant to touch the soul, to evoke a feeling or emotion, to strike a cord, to elicit a reaction. I create my art in the hopes the viewer will enjoy a moment of beauty or a feeling of delight or a quiet moment of contemplation. This is a time to stop thinking, stop trying to figure things out, disengage the mind and simply see and feel what you behold. It is only a moment and then it is gone. Our lives are made up of countless moments strung together one after another. You decide how to experience these moments.”
